Appearance (100 character minimum): Hal’s easily recognizable as a Strider at first glance, what with his bright blonde hair, freckles, and ridiculous shades. He isn’t near as tall as Dirk or Dave, standing at a measly 5’8, though he swears he’s due for another growth spurt soon. He's the most boyish looking out of the family, with a delicate nose and smaller chin than Dirk's, being rather lanky for his height. With eyes a bright blood orange, (It’s fucking red.) most people assume he’s full albino, despite him being rather tan (at least compared to his brothers). Instead, he has ocular albinism, a condition that only affects his eyes. They’re still sensitive to light, explaining the shades, although he chose his specifically to mimic Dirk’s. He's been particularly stubborn about "forgetting" to wear them lately, however, as they simply serve to remind him he's just another thorn in Dirk's side. As previously mentioned, he has quite an assortment of freckles, mainly dotting his shoulders, arms, and cheeks. His hair is styled similarly to Dirk's as well, although in the opposite direction.

Personality (200 character minimum): To most people, Hal seems like a sarcastic little shitmonger, uninterested and with the driest wit Hogwarts has ever seen. However, to a very, very select few (i.e. Dave and Roxy) he lets the facade drop a little. By a little, I mean a miniscule margin, but hey, it’s a start. Were one to take a peek into his mind, they’d see he’s actually very insecure from being pushed aside so much, leading him to use his wit as a shield.
Background (Why Hogwarts? Childhood? Any connections to other characters?): Since he was very young, he’s idolized Dirk, though that hasn’t fared too well for him, instead leaving him rather bitter about his older brother. Dave was always more cordial to him, despite not seeming close in an obvious sense. Hal has never had an easy time making friends, so there aren’t really many to mention, besides the silent crush he harbors for one miss Roxy Lalonde. She actually treats him like he exists, and she’s probably the only person he doesn’t toss sarcastic jabs at. Needless to say, he gets jealous when Dirk hangs around her, even though he knows there’s absolutely nothing going on between them.
Quirks & Et cetera (Anything else you would like to add?): Hal has a tendency to go off on tangents when nervous or embarrassed, rambling in a very Dave-esque style, a habit he picked up from tailing his brothers when they were little.
